After discovering time travel, university student Okabe Rintaro and his colleagues must use their knowledge of it to stop an evil Organization and their diabolical plans. Steins;Gate is the second entry in the Science Adventure visual novel trilogy and has an anime adaptation, movie, and prequel series.

Steins;Gate happens around several landmarks in Akihabara. Akihabara Radio Kaikan is an important location and had to be reconstructed in 2011 due to structural problems. The real life equivalent to May Queen Cafe Nyan² has Steins:Gate themed menu items.
