Hathaway first of three planned films adapting the Hathaway’s Flash novel series written by Yoshiuki Tomino himself. After the events of Char’s Counterattack, Hathaway Noa, son of First Gundam’s White Base captain Bright Noa, joins a group called Mafty and adopts the name Mafty Navue Erin. Mafty the organization aims to disrupt a meeting of the heads of the Earth Federation in Adelaide, Australia by using terror tactics and the threat of the experimental Ξ [Ksi] Gundam, so Hathaway boards a luxurious space flight hosting high-ranking members of the Federation to Adelaide.

Hathaway’s identifiable and distinct earthly locations are in Davao in the Philippines.
