The ridiculously short Futaba Igarashi finds it challenging to be acknowledged as a legitimate businesswoman due to her well-built work senpai, Harumi, constantly doting on her. Despite encountering embarrassment, Futaba begins to develop a closer bond with her outspoken colleague. Uzai Senpai started out as a web manga and got a single-season anime.

Senpai ga Uzai mostly takes place around Ochanomizu Station and Suidobashi Station in Tokyo. The arcade in Hokkaido actually exists in real life. The office is modeled on the Former Mitsui Trading Company, which is actually in Hokkaido as well.
