Zatsu Tabi

Chika Suzugamori, a college-aged rookie manga artist, has been getting rejected every time she submits a new draft. On the verge of giving up, she suddenly gets the idea of going on a journey according to her own whims. A story of relaxation, adventure, friendships, and self-care that serves as a vehicle for showcasing many of Japan’s lesser-known regional destinations.

If you want more details on Zatsu Tabi’s locations, the first place I would look would be the fantastic scanlation notes coming out of the Zatsu Scans group. If you know where to find scanlations, you know where to look.

I prepared this map based off locations featured in the manga. I do not know ahead of airing how many chapters will be adapted in the anime, but it is scheduled to start airing on Crunchyroll on or after April 7.

The manga artist, Imiguru-sensei, often digitally layers drawings of her characters over reference photographs, as seen in this illustration made in support of the upcoming anime. A similar approach appears on volume covers.

A Stamp Rally collaboration with the Tobu Line has been announced, including some prize illustrations and QR codes.

There’s also been a collaboration between Zatsu Tabi’s production committee and Meitetsu World Travel, offering some manner of all-included vacation package based on the manga. It seems sale of the package coincided with Tourism Expo Japan in September 2024.

This YouTube video suggests that similarly to Pon no Michi, the voice talents for Zatsu Tabi will be going on some staged trips to the locations in the manga/anime.
